Teacher Development Centers are working classrooms that function as staff development environments in which teachers learn about integrating technology. The classroom teachers are members of a technology-integration vanguard team in their school or district. These vanguard teachers and the participating teachers form a coaching relationship that supports the participating teachersÕ evolution in the area of technology integration. In 1992, the ACOT Teacher Development Center project was awarded a three-year National Science Foundation grant.
