"The project "Models of teacher professional development for the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) into classroom practice" has been initiated following approval of funding by the Minister for Education, Training and Youth Affairs, Dr David Kemp.

The tender was awarded to a consortium consisting of the Australian Curriculum Studies Association, the Technology Education Federation of Australia, the Australian Council for Computers in Education and the University of Western Sydney.Ê The project is overseen by a steering committee which includes representatives from DETYA, the Education Network Australia (EdNA) Schools Advisory Group, and the Australian Council of Deans of Education.
