European decision makers could soon be anticipating the future and understanding people's needs in the same way as designers, thanks to a new EU-funded study
It's hoped that both government and business will benefit from the 'Design for Future Needs' study, which will look at the methods designers use to read social,economic and technological trends and develop products and services.
The research will explore the potential role design techniques from brainstorming to visualisation have in boosting quality of life across Europe.
