Pat Delaney warms up to a new historical figure.. Pat Delaney got a new job at a technology high school of all things. So to maintain
continuity, and to Preserve the Site-In-A-Site concept, I replaced his civil-right leader with a historical
big-thinker. I think that it came out pretty good, and apparently Pat does too.
We're coming into focus on the Galileo
Library frontier. Maestro Bryan Bell
has morphed the recent, and only briefly mourned, MLK
Library theme to produce this
estimable design art. 'Book Blogging' is replaced with 'Views
and Reviews' in the right nav bar, changed to encourage high school students'
(Fifteen year veteran of middle school breathes audible sigh of relief
.) reviews of books and more: magazines, movies, music, issues in the
news, games, websites, whatever. And hoping for an even closer relationship
with San Francisco Public Library (right
down Van Ness Avenue from the school), our first 'Events and Activities' link connects
to their teen events page. I'll contact the webmistress tomorrow, pointing
to the
ill-rendered page and requesting an xml feed or, at the least, a printFriendly
version.
