Fuel Efficiency Trumps Fuel Cells. Two energy experts cast doubt on hydrogen fuel cells' ability to reduce fuel use and curb carbon dioxide emissions. Simpler methods -- like improving fuel efficiency -- would be more effective and much cheaper, they say.
