Solartech Hotwater Heater

The unit's design eliminates the traditional problem experienced in other storage hot water systems where the incoming cold water mixes with the stored hot water and therefore quickly reduces the tank temperature. 260 litres of water can be used from the Solartech 300 litre unit before there is a one centigrade degree drop in water temperature.

:: Very short pay back period for the consumer, less than three years in Australia and most international regions.

:: Capacity is sufficient for most families.

:: Installation is very simple with only two plumbing fittings to be made.

:: Because of the fully flooded collector panel and the ability of the polyethylene to expand and contract the unit is totally unaffected by frost conditions.

:: Immersion electrical elements are available as standard.

:: Can be connected directly to slow combustion tile fires to provide auxiliary heating in the winter months.

There are three principle differences between the revolutionary design of the Solartech system and other traditional solar hot water or storage heating systems ...

1. Solartech units are at least 50% less expensive to produce than the nearest comparable product found in any market to date;

2. No other system has a collector panel and storage tank moulded in one piece;

3. No other system is made entirely from polymeric materials.

The unit will never rust and since polyethylene is an inert material it will not collect deposits and suffer blockage. As there are no moving parts within the main body of the solar unit it is practically maintenance free.
